The fairy

I’ve been called the Wine Fairy long before it became a brand. The name came from my world — the people I poured for, the rooms I curated, the moods I matched. Today, that’s what I do everywhere I go.

I’m a professional sommelier and wine journalist. I lead Wine Fairy Forest — a weekly night of wine, music, and art in Tel Aviv. I co-founded the Israel Wine Collection. I’ve spoken at the Colosseum. I travel for the wine, for the people, for the story.

What I do is simple: you tell me your mood, and I tell you your wine. The rest unfolds from there.

Shira Granot is a professional sommelier, wine journalist, and the founder of the Wine Fairy brand (US trademark registered).

She is Co-Founder of the Israel Wine Collection and Director of Community Engagement at the Combat Antisemitism Movement.

She has represented Israeli wine at the Curia Julia, Colosseum Archaeological Park (Rome). She created and led Refeelingwine, a 500-person immersive wine experience in Tel Aviv.

Today she leads Wine Fairy Forest — a weekly Tel Aviv night of wine, music, and art — and is building toward a future Wine Fairy Museum.

She lives between Tel Aviv, New York, Miami, Berlin, and the Mediterranean wine triangle.

She speaks to her audience with the duality that defines her: playful and serious, Fairy and diplomat, intuitive and credentialed.
